How do you adjust the threshold on an entry door?
If you want to adjust the amount of light that passes through the bottom of your entry door, you can adjust the threshold. To adjust the threshold on your entry door, adjust the screws depending on the direction that you want to go. To raise the threshold, turn the screws counterclockwise. To lower the threshold, turn the screws clockwise.
How do you further insulate an entry door?
To add additional insulation to your entry door, add weather stripping around your door to limit excess airflow. Some types of doors include natural insulation while others don’t. Wood doors, for example, expand or shrink as the temperature fluctuates, so weather stripping wooden doors can be more difficult. However, Fiberglass doors can insulate your home more efficiently because they contain foam. Additionally, Window World entry doors are installed with weatherstripping seals already in place.
